On Monday, Knox County Commission revoked the license of Karim Shad (who had been caught selling beer to minors three times in the past six months) and then deferred for one month the application from a purported new owner, applying as Diva Inc., when the beer inspector revealed the individual had actually sold the beer on Shad’s third violation. Shad also was fined $2,500 and was instructed to lock his beer cases.
