We are excited to celebrate the grand re-opening of our newly remodeled/expanded Middlebrook Pike Food City in Knoxville. Festivities began at 9 a.m. today (4/20) and include ribbon cutting and flag raising ceremonies, department sampling and other refreshments.

Project Help: Also on April 20, Food City hosted a check presentation for Project Help, a collaborative effort to provide heating assistance to local residents in need during the cold weather season. The presentation was at the Middlebrook Pike store, 9565 Middlebrook Pike, at 9 a.m.

For more than 20 years, Food City has been proud to host the annual Project Help. The promotion ran from Jan. 5 to Feb. 1 in Knoxville area Food City stores. Shoppers were invited to make a dollar contribution at the check-out to help their neighbors in need.

Thanks to the support and generosity of loyal Food City customers and associates, this year’s Project Help campaign raised $53,386.

Jobs, jobs, jobs: Food City continues to hire for full- or part-time jobs, entry-level or skilled positions. Interested candidates can apply online at FoodCity.com or visit any Food City store to complete an application.

Every year, Food City in Halls hosts a parking lot car show to benefit the Halls High School band. This year’s show was April 16 and here are some photos.
