Fountain City Presbyterian hosts Ensemble Swing Time Band

Susan EspirituFountain City, Our Town Neighbors

Fountain City Presbyterian Church is celebrating 100 years of dedicated service to its congregation and the community by hosting various events throughout this year to engage with the congregation and the community.

The next big event occurs on Saturday, July 15, when the church hosts the Ensemble Swing Time Band on the front lawn from 5-7 p.m. The 18-piece band specializes in classic big-band swing, featuring both original arrangements and those popularized by Glenn Miller, the Dorsey Brothers and other great bands from the swing era.

The event is free. Donations for the Fountain City Ministry Center are requested: canned food, cereal, peanut butter or school supplies.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and prepare to be entertained! Free hot dog meal will be available for all!
