July 3 First Friday Reception: The Downtown Art Market Gallery in Knoxville invites the community to its First Friday Reception from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. July’s featured artist is Lynnda Tennpenny, who will showcase a collection of mixed-media artwork. Admission is free, and all are welcome to enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and creativity.

July 2– July 8: The weekly preview of arts and culture events in the Greater Knoxville area is included in the Arts & Cultural Alliance.

July 3: Arts & Culture Alliance’s Members Exhibition opens at The Emporium: The 2026 Members Exhibition, the region’s largest annual celebration of artistic talent in the Greater Knoxville area. Showcasing an engaging mix of recent two‑ and three‑dimensional works, the exhibition highlights the range of creative practice across media such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, photography, fine craft, sculpture, ceramics, and fiber.

Saturday, July 5 | 5:00 PM – Jazz Quartet: Enjoy an evening of classic jazz as the Oasis Jazz Quartet performs at the Good Shepherd Arts Series. The concert will feature rich harmonies, smooth standards, lively swing, and an inviting atmosphere for music lovers.

July 10-12 Wordplayers: The WordPlayers presents Hairspray: The Musical, a high-energy Broadway musical in performances on July 10th & 11th at 7:30 p.m. and July 11th & 12th at 2:30 p.m. at Bijou Theatre, 803 S Gay St, Knoxville, TN 37902. July Outdoor Concert Series: The  Downtown Maryville Alliance announces the launch of a free, outdoor concert series coming to the Charles West Amphitheater in Jack Greene Park each Thursday during the months of June and July 2026. This inaugural season will feature an exciting lineup of regional and national talent, bringing live music to downtown Maryville each Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Below are the dates and performers:

Saturday, July 26 | 5:00 PM – Barbecue and Bluegrass: Join Good Shepherd for an evening of bluegrass music featuring the Grassy Creek Bluegrass Band. A barbecue dinner provided by the Men’s Club will be served as guests enjoy great music, fellowship, and community.

June 30 – July 7: The American Revolution Experience Exhibit will be on display at the East TN History Center.
