GriefShare at FCPC starting August 6

Are you dealing with loss of a loved one or friend? GriefShare can help you navigate the difficult journey.

A new group is beginning on Wednesday, August 6, 5:30-6:30 through October 29, at Fountain City Presbyterian, 500 Hotel Ave., 37918. The 13 sessions are free with all materials provided. These are not sequential so come to all or some.

We will also offer a Surviving the Holidays one-time session on Tuesday, November 11, 12:30-3 p.m.

Susan Espiritu

Susan Espiritu is a lifelong Tennessean, born and raised in Fountain City with a short stint in Hawaii where she met her husband of now over 50 years, Charlie. Susan graduated in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee plus Master’s and Ed.S. degrees in Educational Leadership from University of Tennessee and Lincoln Memorial University, respectively. She taught in Knox County schools for over twenty years and served as principal of two KCS for a combined 16 years. After retirement, her love of writing led to a connection with Sandra Clark and KnoxTNToday evolving into a dream retirement of managing the online news in Clark’s semi-retirements. Susan cherishes time spent with husband Charlie, two daughters Maria & Kalea, and son Billy who have blessed her with nine grandchildren and one great grandson.
