Fall Festival in Oak Ridge: Friday & Saturday

The 74th Fall Festival in Oak Ridge is hosted by St. Mary’s Parish on Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, with several events, times and locations.

Friday, September 27 kicks off the festival with the Knights of Columbus #3175 spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m. held in Columbus Hall/Parish Life Center at 323 Vermont Ave, Oak Ridge.

Activities for the evening include the St. Lucy’s Craft Guild’s silent auction with bidding starting promptly at 5 p.m. featuring arts, treasures, hand-painted furniture and theme baskets with a live auction following dinner plus a cake walk.

Dinner prices are $13 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and children 5-12 years, and free for age 4 and younger. Family tickets can be purchased for $35. Dinner includes spaghetti with sauce, salad, garlic bread, and tea, water or lemonade. Take-out dinners are also available. Desserts can be purchased from the St. Lucy’s Guild Bake Sale and beer and wine are available for purchase by adults 21 and over with proof of identification.

St. Lucy’s Silent Auction will be on-going Friday evening and Saturday until 3 p.m.

Saturday, September 28, come out and enjoy the Fast N Classy Car Show and a full schedule of live entertainment from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Food options will include homemade tacos and tamales, hot dogs, grilled hamburgers and brats, German potato salad, Kona Ice and other homemade sweet treats.

You can enjoy the hayride, inflatables and carnival-style games with prizes for the kids. Tickets for games and inflatables can be purchased at the ticket booths. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Browse the White Elephant Thrift Store along with several local vendors and handmade crafts created by the parishioners of St. Mary’s. There’s something for everyone, so come out and enjoy fun and fellowship with us!
