West Side Y is sponsoring a Fall Festival with carnival games, face painting, a bounce house and more. It is Sunday, Oct. 16, from 2-5 p.m. at 400 N. Winston Rd. It is free and open to the community.

“We’ll have fun for the whole family, plus special guests from the Little Ponderosa Zoo with animals to pet and feed!”

Before Dark at St. Mark is a free community event Sunday, Oct. 30, 4-6 p.m. with trick or treating starting at 6. Events include a chili cook-off, inflatables, games and music. The church is located at 7001 S. Northshore Dr. Info: 865-588-0808.

Piney Grove Baptist Fall Festival is Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4-8 p.m. with singing, food trucks, craft vendors and trick or treating. It’s a free community event.

Barger Concepts opens headquarters

Knoxville Chamber celebrated with Barger Concepts the grand opening of its new headquarters at 145 S. Forest Park Blvd. in Bearden. As the parent company of The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm, Swank Floral and Tallulah’s, Nancy Barger and her team have the expertise to create beauty and inspire whimsy and joy in Knoxville and surrounding areas, according to the Chamber report.

The Chamber ribbon-cutting crew will be at the new ORNL Federal Credit Union, 9550 Middlebrook Pike, Monday, Oct. 24, 10-10:30 a.m.
