Turner Homes has announced the launch of Turner Companies, a unified umbrella brand bringing together its affiliated businesses to provide a more flexible and connected path for home buyers and renters in East Tennessee.

Andrew Fraser
Andrew Fraser is chief executive officer of Turner Companies. He succeeds Mike Turner, who will transition into an advisory role as board chair. Lisa Stridde will serve as chief operating officer, Amanda Johnson as chief sales officer, and Jenny Brewer as chief financial officer.
Fraser, a CPA since 2009, holds both the bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee, Haslam College of Business. He joined Turner Homes in 2017 as chief financial officer. He was promoted to president in 2022 and to CEO in January 2026.
Turner Homes was founded in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1971 by the late M.P. Turner, father of Mike Turner. From a young age, Mike was involved in the business – mowing lawns, shooting elevations and handling paint and trim work during school breaks. He later attended the University of Tennessee, majored in accounting, and began his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young in St. Louis after graduate school. Mike returned to Knoxville in 1996 to help lead Turner Homes. When M.P. retired in 2010, Mike assumed full leadership of the company as president and CEO.
Under the new brand, Turner Companies encompasses Clouds Rest Development, Turner Homes, Woody Creek Realty, Fortress Title Group, Home Front Mortgage and Fortress Capital. Today, Turner Companies operates across East Tennessee with teams serving both the Knoxville and Chattanooga markets.
“Turner Companies exists to provide a seamless path home for buyers,” said Andrew Fraser, CEO. “That path may involve renting, purchasing, selling or investing in real estate. By aligning our businesses under one vision and brand, we give buyers greater flexibility, clarity and continuity through every step of their housing experience.”
Earlier this year, the companies consolidated into a shared headquarters at 11820 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, where a joint management team works to align strategy, operations and customer service across all entities. Info: 865-777-1700.
Who you gonna trust?
Politicians talk about a housing crisis, and there are folks, especially young people, who cannot find a place to buy or rent. But I am blown away by the list below of homes brought online by Turner Companies. With Halls math, I count 1,400 new homes with prices starting in the mid-$300,000 range.
The best way to fight a housing shortage is to build more houses. Here’s one company doing just that.
