Second playhouse finds its home

Sandra ClarkBlount, Our Town Outdoors

Last week we pictured the construction of two playhouses for area military families by businesses D1 Hardin Valley and Tranzonic Companies. (Story here.) Now the second playhouse has been donated to U.S. Air Force Technical Sgt. Chelsea Teffeteller and her children, Dawson, age 3, and Arlo, age 16 months. Teffeteller has served in the Tennessee Air National Guard for nine years and has worked at the base full-time since returning from technical training. Her family resides in Friendsville (Blount County).

Employees and friends of the businesses built the structures as part of Knoxville Habitat for Humanity playhouse build program on Oct. 2.
