The Painted Woods will offer a two-hour class on painting furniture with Country Chic Paint and waxes using various techniques. It’s set for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the business, 7716 Clinton Highway in Powell.
The fee is $50 per person. Groups are accepted, although space is limited. Participants will learn the basics of painting, distressing and waxing. Each will take home a tray and another painted piece plus a discount coupon to buy paint. To sign up, call 865-227-4489.
The Painted Woods is owned by sisters Mary Ann Miller and Martha Dooley. It contains furniture for sale and home décor. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
