OK, folks. This is interesting. The Great Smoky Mountains Association has released “Safe Passage: Animals Need a Hand,” a music video featuring Asheville-based band The Fates.
The press release says: The video, which debuted Dec. 10 on GSMA’s YouTube channel, follows The Fates as they sing, play their instruments and walk through the forest — and uses captivating lyrics and vivid imagery to highlight the need for safe wildlife crossing structures in the Smokies. Interspersed between shots of the band is engaging footage of the region’s iconic wildlife species, along with examples of successful crossing structures.
Three more sincere young women you will not find. They met in high school and were assisted in this endeavor by their teacher, River Guerguerian, of Odyssey Community School in Asheville. This is dedicated to all the young folks who believe they can change the world.
