Join us for the 16th annual Mardi Growl on Saturday, March 4, at World’s Fair Park. Young Williams Animal Shelter’s famous pet parade kicks off in the Old City at 11 a.m. and travels on foot and paw to World’s Fair Park. Register your pet for the parade, or join the thousands of spectators along the route.

The Mountaintop ends Sunday

Katori Hall uses her award-winning talent in her play The Mountaintop to lead us with her brilliant imagination into Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s mind as he sat on his bed at the Lorraine Motel on his last night alive. She takes a look at the questions that may have been on his mind in those last hours as his heroic journey came to an end on that fateful day. The play continues through Sunday, March 5, at 111 State Street. Info: 865-310-2664.
