Hardin Valley

Tyler Slack, president of Creative Structures Inc., posted this photo and note: “It’s a blue bird day to move some dirt for Valley Church.” Slack tagged pastor John Gargis. The congregation now meets at 11 a.m. Sundays at Clayton Center for Performing Arts at Pellissippi State Community College. Formed in 2019, it first met at Hardin Valley Academy. Info: 865-839-4785.

Officers of the Hardin Valley Business and Community Alliance gather to plan for 2022. Executive board and committee chairs (not in order): Sage Kohler, president; Rob Speas, vice president (not pictured); Eric Wolburg, treasurer; Kim Ingram Frazier, secretary and Valley Vision chair; Shelby Brooks, membership chair; Hannah Hatmaker, events chair; and John Gargis, communications chair. The group meets at noon each third Wednesday at the Hardin Valley Church of Christ.

West Hills

Daniel Park and Dogwood Arts leaders celebrate the opening of the West Hills Trail.

She posted: The West Hills Community Association has worked tirelessly over the last 30-plus years to make this dream a reality.” Park is the official sponsor of the West Hills Trail. An agent with Realty Executives Associates sponsored an individual trail this year.

Claiborne County:

Brad Davis is director of financial aid at Lincoln Memorial University. He was promoted in February 2022. Davis has worked for LMU for more than five years in the financial aid office. He holds three degrees from LMU: an education specialist in leadership and administration; a master’s of business administration (MBA); and a master’s of education.

Loudon County: Tellico Village

David Whipple Jr. is with Eugene Hattaway and Mike Bundon at First Baptist Church of Tellico Village. “Thankful for the opportunity to worship with these wonderful friends this morning,” said Whipple.
