Did I hear girls’ flag football? Yes, I did! Knox County Parks and Recreation announced the offering of girls’ flag football beginning in April!
The 8-week league will have 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u and middle school age divisions. There is a $50 per player cost with scholarships provided.
Parks and Rec already has partnered with some women-owned businesses in Knox County to be announced soon, and is currently looking for sponsors willing to donate anything from money to prizes for the winning teams. No donation is too big or too small.
