First Tennessee Foundation is celebrating 25 years of giving by giving another $250,000 to selected community projects within its eight-state market. From June 30 to Aug. 1, First Tennessee is sponsoring a video contest to nonprofits.

Over 25 years, First Tennessee Foundation has distributed more than $80 million to non-profits to help meet community needs.

The contest is open to eligible nonprofits that have received grants from the foundation in the past, as well as to those that meet the foundation’s funding guidelines and would like to apply. Submit a video not exceeding 60 seconds that demonstrates the project. The press release reads: “Videos produced using mobile devices are acceptable and preferred. Don’t worry about professional production values; we just want to hear your story and see how we can help.”

Finalists will be determined by public voting from Aug. 15-31. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced in October. Grants will range from $5,000 to $25,000, with a total distribution of $250,000. Info: 25yearsofgiving.com or www.firsttennesseefoundation.com/.
