Darren Cardwell, president/CEO of Hallsdale Powell Utility District, received the Public Outreach Award from the Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky & Tennessee (CWP-KT). A post on their social media site stated: “The purpose of this award is to recognize CWP-KT members for significant accomplishments in promoting public awareness and understanding of water environment issues through the development and implementation of outreach, education and /or communication programs.”
They continue to congratulate Darren for doing just that.
Comments made on the public post by the community validate Darren’s ability to develop relationships. Besides the many “Well deserved!” remarks, one commentator wrote, “I cannot pass this post without saying DARREN is truly a public servant in all he does. Congratulations on this award and all the kindness you extend to others.”
