Brickey-McCloud Elementary School announced three teachers selected by their peers to represent the school as 2023 Teachers of the Year. The Knox County Teacher of the Year for each grade band will be announced from all district-wide delegates in February.
Shanna Cole was voted as the Teacher of the Year to represent grade K-2.
Brad Capps was voted as the Teacher of the Year to represent grade 3-5.
Larry Israel was voted as the Teacher of the Year to represent Encore/Special Ed.
Principal Susan Hutton says of the three, “We are so thankful to have teachers that support each other, learn from each other and encourage one another to excel at their craft. These three individuals go above and beyond to support both their students and our school community.”
