A twice-postponed vote on a developer’s request to rezone an 88-acre parcel on Beverly Road for a planned residential subdivision is on the agenda at Monday’s county commission meeting in the main assembly room at the City County building.

The rezoning portion of the meeting begins at 7 p.m., and a free bus will leave at 6 p.m. from Northside Christian Church, 4008 Tazewell Pike.

Developer Randy Guignard’s request has drawn strong community opposition based on flooding and traffic concerns. It was originally on the April agenda and has been twice postponed.
