If you spot someone looking confounded in your kid’s school, just say hello. It’s probably the guest principal.
Guest principals are being placed in schools across the district today (11/16/23) as community leaders, elected officials and business partners take part in the annual Principal for a Day.
Guest principals will spend the morning engaging with administrators, witnessing the work being done in Knox County Schools first-hand while sharing relevant industry insight and developing partnerships for future collaboration.
They’ll also visit classrooms to observe instructional time, sit in on teacher meetings or speak to students before heading to a luncheon at the Crowne Plaza downtown.
