A graveside service for Betty Brown Pride will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 17, at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery, 2300 Adair Drive. Mrs. Pride passed away on July 11 at age 89.
She grew up in Knoxville and attended Central High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Tusculum University and worked for Robertshaw of Knoxville most her working career. She is a long-term member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. Fountain City residents will remember the business she founded: Printing with Pride.
She is preceded in death by husbands, Hammond Pride and Gene Clark. She is survived by her son, John Clark (Melissa); daughter, Kendall Clark; grandchildren, Kara Cardwell (Ryan), Bradley Clark and Brittney Clark; great-grandchild, Addie Cardwell.
