Three from CAK make college choice

Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK) is excited to announce that three of their outstanding student-athletes signed papers last Wednesday to play at the collegiate level.

Kyla Hill signed to play softball at Harding University. She has several recognitions as a 4-year varsity softball player at CAK: 2023 All-District Player, member of the National Honor Society and director of Chapel Leadership Team.

Wesley Alig signed to play baseball with Kennesaw State University. Wesley has been recognized throughout his high school years for his excellence: 2021 District Rookie of the Year, 2022 Prep Xtra Player of the Week & District MVP, 2023 District MVP & Mr. Baseball Finalist, Class 2A, 2023 17U Perfect Game East Championship MVP;

2024 Class Perfect Game 1st Team National All-Tournament Team, 2024 Class Perfect Game All-American Team and was selected as a top prospect, invited to play in both Perfect Game’s Jr. National and National Showcase.

Izzy Proffitt signed with Anderson University to play basketball. She, too,  has several honors during her years at CAK: Freshman year had the highest average and % in all statistical categories; All District team freshman, sophomore and junior years; class president freshman year;

National Honor Society, junior year, 2x District Champion, 2x Region Champion.

Congratulations to these CAK seniors as they will continue the next step in their journey.
