Can you guess what was my first attraction to this site? An idyllic lakeside place to paint plein air, the morning was cool and the water calm, but what was the draw?
So you know, it was the orange rock face bank that decided my easel set up for that day.
There is still plenty of summer left for some fun on the water. Grab a picnic, some friends and kayak or boat, the water is warm and quiet during the school week. I give you permission to go alone too. Surprise yourself with the challenge of a sketchbook or paintbrush.
