Stanley’s sets free events on Saturdays in March

Check out Stanley’s Greenhouse for the spring gardening events planned to get us ready for a beautiful year!

Saturday, March 9, 10:30 a.m. landscape architect and retired UT professor Garry Menendez will share his unique take on landscape design. Participants can help choose the topic by casting a vote at Garry’s website.

Look at the main headings across the top of the homepage which include: Design, Plants, Sustainability and Maintenance. Under each heading are short posts in which Garry shares his gardening expertise. Vote for the one that you would love to learn more about by sending Garry an email here.  Include the name of your favorite topic.

The following Saturday, March 16, 10:30 a.m., learn how to grow your own produce with the seminar, Cool Season Vegetables, led by John Tullock.

Saturday, March 23, 10:30 a.m. bring the kids to Children’s Seed Planting Workshop for the hands-on training to help your young ones learn the art of gardening.

Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Annual Easter Egg Hunt Sale
