Spring drama

Christopher RobinOur Town Arts

It happens every year. The weather warms, the grass begins to turn green and the forsythia blooms its bright yellow magic. Then, as sure as the daffodils erupt, winter steps back in to tell us it is not over.

Captured in Cades Cove early one April, the juxtaposition of greening grass and the dusting of snow tells of winter’s stubborn persistence. May I get some bonus points for the dramatic clouds hanging on the mountain tops?

Photographer Chris and painter Robin Rohwer each week share a painting or photograph that captured their interest in hopes that it will also capture yours. They have a small studio and gallery in the Phoenix Building at 418 South Gay Street where you can stop and see their work. Their website is www.ChristopherRobinArts.com. All works are copyright protected.
