From the obituary: Glenn and Peggy, his wife of 50 years, raised four children in Halls Crossroads, where they were active and engaged members of the community. Glenn operated two service stations in Halls for many years before going to work for Norfolk Southern Railroad. Peggy worked as a retail administrative assistant and in the insurance industry after their children were raised. They loved spending time on Norris Lake and hosted many family events and outings there. They were a fixture at local C&W dances with friends. Above all, they ensured their children had the best possible childhood and that their family knew they were greatly loved – a fitting tribute to loving parents.
