Len Miszkiel, 74, was a civil engineer, a project manager for Johnson & Galyon Construction for 33 years. While he worked on multiple projects, the latter part of his career centered on UT Medical Center.
When he retired, Mr. Miszkiel returned to UT Medical Center as a volunteer. After all, he had friends there.
Len and wife Sue managed time for his hobbies, though. He enjoyed golf, biking, hiking, watching sports and scuba diving. He became proficient in underwater photography and the couple spent “numerous vacations exploring dive sites around the world.”
In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by son Chris Miszkiel, daughter-in-law Kim Miszkiel and daughter Nicole Miszkiel. The full obituary is here.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. And yes, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the auxiliary fund of UT Medical Center.
