Primary colors come together in Robin’s painting

Weeds are in the eye of the beholder. Not all weeds get a cool name, but one form of the mustard plant is called “yellow rocket.” These vibrant yellow plants, in contrast to the red roof, caught my attention this spring. Primary colors – with bonus points for white walls and green trees.

This sturdy old barn is off Tazewell Pike, just outside of Fountain City.

Some things have to be painted.

Robin’s latest work debuts Sept. 6 at First Friday in our studio in the Emporium, 100 South Gay Street.  Come see us starting at 5 p.m.
