Looking for a fun way to spend an evening, connect with the community, and support a good cause? Knox Bingo is bringing people together for free bingo nights at local businesses while shining a spotlight on nonprofits making a difference in the Tennessee Valley. The Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley (HSTV) is grateful to be among the organizations featured through these community events.
HSTV recently joined Knox Bingo for an evening at Daisy’s Non-Alcoholic Bar, where guests gathered to enjoy bingo, good company, and an opportunity to learn more about the work being done to help animals in our community. HSTV extends a heartfelt thank-you to Daisy’s Non-Alcoholic Bar for welcoming the organization and to Knox Bingo for choosing to feature HSTV and so many other local nonprofits during its bingo nights.
The best part? Knox Bingo is free to play! These events offer a fun, accessible way for community members to get out, meet new people, visit local businesses, and learn about organizations working to make a difference. By featuring different nonprofits at its events, Knox Bingo helps connect local causes with people who may be looking for new ways to get involved in their community.
For HSTV, opportunities like these help spread awareness about the needs of homeless animals and the many ways the organization serves pets, shelters, and the people who love them throughout the Tennessee Valley.
Founded in 1885, HSTV is a private, donor-supported nonprofit with a mission to serve the region’s shelters, pets, and the people who love them through wholistic, life-saving initiatives and care. Beyond adoption services, HSTV also works to keep pets with the families who love them through community resources, including its PetHelp Community Clinic and pet food pantry. These programs help address barriers to veterinary care and pet ownership, allowing more families to keep their beloved companions healthy and at home.
As a private, donor-supported organization, HSTV relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community partners to continue this work. Community events are valuable opportunities to introduce new people to its mission and celebrate the local businesses and organizations that believe in making a difference together.
Knox Bingo has several upcoming opportunities for the community to join in the fun while supporting local businesses and learning more about HSTV. We may even have a puppy or two to cuddle while you’re there!
Upcoming Knox Bingo Nights include:
- November 3: Maple Hall
- November 10: Fred’s Around the Corner: Kitchen & Bar
Community members are encouraged to attend, bring friends, and enjoy a free evening of bingo. For event updates and additional bingo nights, follow Knox Bingo on Facebook at facebook.com/profile.php?id=61578506547967.
HSTV is thankful to Knox Bingo and the participating local businesses for creating opportunities that bring people together in support of meaningful causes. Every conversation about animal welfare helps build a more compassionate community, and HSTV is grateful to be part of it.
Pet Tip: Help your dog feel confident in public spaces by starting in quiet, low-distraction areas and gradually working up to busier environments. Reward calm behavior with treats and praise, keep outings short and positive, and always give your pup space to feel safe and comfortable!

A stand-alone 501 (c) (3) limited-admissions animal shelter, Humane Society, Tennessee Valley, receives no funding from national humane entities or government agencies; it relies solely on private donations and grant funding.
