Twenty-five Knox County restaurants and food-service establishments earned a perfect 100 in health inspection scores reported during August, giving KnoxTNToday plenty to celebrate in the first edition of Perfect 100.

Perfect 100 is a new monthly KnoxTNToday feature recognizing local establishments that receive the highest possible score during a Tennessee Department of Health restaurant inspection. The department’s Environmental Health Program permits and inspects food-service establishments, including those in Knoxville and Knox County.

A score of 100 reflects conditions documented during that particular inspection. It is not a ranking of one restaurant against another, and conditions can change between inspections.
