Peggy Hadden was unique. You can know that from reading her obituary. She died May 21, just seven weeks shy of her 100th birthday. She raised four sons on a farm on Patrick’s Creek in York County, Virginia, and moved to Tennessee in 2018.
She retired at age 98 from delivering Mobile Meals and celebrated her 80th birthday in Scotland. She played cello for nearly 85 years, retiring from the York River Symphony Orchestra at age 90. Her family concluded: “Praise God for a life lived fully and well.” Arrangements are by Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge.
