Paws & Badges is a nonprofit organization that provides PTSD service dogs to first responders for free.
The organization invites the public to the Exchanging of Leash ceremony on Saturday, December 2, 2023, noon, at Callahan Road Baptist Church, 1319 Callahan Dr., Knoxville.
Amanda Bartleson, founder of Paws & Badges, says, “This event celebrates the hard work and dedication of our amazing service dogs and their handlers.
“We would be honored to have you join us for this special occasion. The event will include a short graduation ceremony, light refreshments, an opportunity to meet our service dogs and their handlers, and to learn more about the Paws & Badges mission.”
