Powell High Theater Club performs

The Powell High School Theatre Club performed its first of two productions, Twelve Angry Jurors, on January 26, 27 and 28.

This courtroom drama by Reginald Rose portrayed 12 ordinary people reporting for jury duty with the task of determining the fate of a teen accused of murdering his father.

Personal histories and biases impacted interactions between characters as they made the final life or death decision. The original script, Twelve Angry Men, was first televised in 1954 and was later made into a popular Academy Award-nominated film, before being adapted to stage.

Jennifer Doubleday, PHS theatre teacher and drama coach, directed this talented cast and crew. A second play will be performed later this school year.
