The Halls branch of First Horizon has a proud history as the first bank built in the community. Fountain City Bank (which later merged into First Tennessee/First Horizon) put branches in Powell and Halls in the late 1960s.
But if you’ve not been in a while, you won’t recognize the place. Bright colors, glassed-in offices and the latest technology give the branch a vibe.
The manager is new to Halls. Cathy Guarnacci has been with First Horizon for eight years and in banking for 33. She most recently worked at First Horizon’s North Knoxville branch.
Relationship bankers are Shirley Schady, who transferred from the Powell branch, and Angie Ellis. Melissa Weaver is a teller and operations coordinator. Other tellers are Angelica Marshall and Lara Armstrong.
