Librarians are there to assist

Need help finding answers? Ask a librarian. Whether it‘s navigating the new website, finding specific information on a database, or some handholding to download any of the library apps for audiobooks or ebooks, our reference librarians can provide individual help. A common request is for assistance with resumes and job search, or it can be as basic as help setting up an email address. As they say, there are no dumb questions.

You can make an appointment at several branch libraries for a one-on-one session with a professional librarian for the information you need. That‘s particularly helpful if you need to bring your mobile device in and have some help setting up a streaming session on Kanopy or Hoopla.

If you can‘t make it to any of the scheduled sessions, you can also set up a session that better meets your schedule by calling 865-215-8705 or emailing reference@knoxlib.org.
