Join us October 14 for the 2022 Legacy Luncheon for the Parks to hear author Cheryl Strayed share her adventures from hiking the Pacific Coast Trail as we overlook the beautiful Holston River from the spectacular Strong Stock Farm.

After a 1,000-mile trek on the Pacific Crest Trail, Cheryl Strayed has a story to tell. She is the author of the No. 1 New York Times bestselling memoir “Wild,” which tells her own tale of loss and recovery with grit and humor. The Oscar-nominated movie adaptation of Wild stars Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern.

Cheryl has also authored New York Times bestsellers “Tiny Beautiful Things” and “Brave Enough,” and the novel “Torch.”

Strayed’s books have been translated into nearly 40 languages around the world and have been adapted for both the screen and the stage.

The luncheon funds the work of Legacy Parks to create parks and trails and conserve our natural resources. Table sponsorships are available here now!

Carol Evans is executive director of Legacy Parks Foundation.
