Enhance Powell will meet from 4-5 p.m. today (5/21) at LifeHouse Coffee on Brickyard Road. All persons are welcomed.

Halls Business & Professional Association will meet at noon today (5/21) at Beaver Brook Country Club. Lunch is $12. Representatives from Rural Metro Fire will demonstrate CPR.

Knox County Sheriff’s North Precinct, located at 7326 Norris Freeway adjacent to Rural King in Halls, will hold an open house with hot dogs, drinks and chips on Saturday, May 25. Captain Jim Wright is host. Info: 865-215-2444.

Cabbage Cemetery will host its annual Memorial Services in Black Fox Valley in Grainger County on Sunday, May 26, at 11 a.m. The purpose of the service is to raise money for the upkeep of the cemetery and to elect all officers. State Sen. Becky Massey has scheduled meetings at area libraries this week to recap the just-ended legislative session for constituents. The schedule is Tuesday, May 21, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Carter, 9036 Asheville Highway, and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Howard Pinkston, 7732 Martin Mill Pike; and Wednesday, May 22, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Bearden, 100 Golfclub Road.
