Dawson Kitts has joined the staff of Powell Church as director of youth ministries. He recently graduated from Tennessee Tech and has been involved in youth ministries at several churches and at the Holston Conference level as well, according to a release from the staff parish relations team.
Kitts said he’s excited to begin work in Powell. His dad is a minister in the Holston Conference.
“Growing up in the church always allowed me the opportunity to grow and serve alongside my peers, and I can’t wait to support the youth of PUMC unlocking the same experience through a loving, faithful and sometimes challenging journey. I look forward to meeting everyone – both inside and outside of the youth circle – and I can’t wait to see where God leads us,” he said. Reach him at dawson@powellchurch.com
