Charlie Austin writes: Join us at Karns Middle School on Saturday, Oct 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the second annual Karns Fall Festival and Chili Cook-off, presented by Karns Middle and Karns Fair. Lots of fall vendors, arts and crafts, midway games for the kids and a showcase of Karns Middle clubs and organizations. Enjoy the Chili Cook-off and meet your fellow community members. Emily Ann Roberts will hold a concert to benefit Horse Haven of Tennessee at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at 2477 Ford Road, Lenoir City. Tickets are $30 each with kids 10 and younger admitted free.
