Nature Photographers

Joe Rentz posted: Tonight’s Southern Appalachian Nature Photographers (SANP) Image Salon was outstanding. It’s the 30th anniversary of the club and these three original members talked about the history (and maybe some tall tales). I think there were 180 outstanding prints submitted in the competition and dinner was good, too! Clay Thurston, Kendall Chiles, Jerry Whaley.

January birthdays for the Tates

Tracey Van Hook posted a birthday picture of her parents, artist and business owner Joe Tate and Lou L Tate, founder of Tate’s School in Cedar Bluff. “I could not love these two people more. Jan. 19 is my mom’s birthday! Dad’s birthday was on January 3. Happy birthday to two of the sweetest, smartest and most loving parents a girl could have!
