Here it comes

Christopher RobinOur Town Arts, Sevier

The most exciting time of the year for East Tennessee photography will soon be upon us. The colors of fall are marching down from the north. Mornings are cool with warm dry afternoons. Wood smoke of bonfires ride the wind. How could it get any better than this?

I went to Clingmans Dome one day last week to shoot the sunrise. Stopping on the way down, I found just a small amount of yellow in the trees along this small creek. More change is coming soon, adding oranges and vibrant reds. It truly is a wonderful time of the year, so be sure to get out to see this medley of colors, some might say The Greatest Show on Earth.

Robin and I will be in our studio until 9 p.m. for First Friday. Stop in and see us as you enjoy the fall weather and the art of downtown Knoxville.

Photographer Chris and painter Robin Rohwer each week share a painting or photograph that captured their interest in hopes that it will also capture yours. They have a small studio and gallery in the Phoenix Building at 418 South Gay Street where you can stop and see their work. Their website is www.ChristopherRobinArts.com. All works are copyright protected.
