As March comes to a close, there’s still time to make a meaningful difference for pets and families in our community. The Knoxville Habitat for Humanity ReStore is wrapping up its March Pet Food Drive in support of the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, and we invite you to help us finish strong.

Throughout the month, generous donors have helped “fill the bowls” for pets in need by contributing dry and wet dog and cat food, puppy and kitten food, unopened treats, and cat litter. These donations play a vital role in keeping pets fed, healthy, and at home with the families who love them most.

Donations can be dropped off at the ReStore, located at 1511 Downtown West Blvd, now through March 31. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it easy to stop by and give. As a thank-you, donors will receive a 15% off coupon for an eligible item in the store.

The drive will conclude with a special celebration on Tuesday, March 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the ReStore. Join us for an afternoon of community impact, and meet some of the Humane Society’s adoptable pets who will be there to help us celebrate.

We are incredibly grateful to the ReStore for being such dedicated partners in our mission. Together, we are ensuring that more pets stay nourished, loved, and right where they belong, at home.

Pet Tip: Storage matters! Keep pet food in its original bag inside an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

Founded in 1885, Humane Society, Tennessee Valley is the longest-standing animal shelter in the State of Tennessee. A stand-alone 501 (c) (3) limited-admissions animal shelter, Humane Society, Tennessee Valley, receives no funding from national humane entities or government agencies; it relies solely on private donations and grant funding.
