Farragut’s Great Turkey Hunt 2023 is next week

Susan EspirituFarragut

Looking for a family friendly activity next week? Head over to the Farragut parks and plaza and go turkey hunting!

You never know what you will discover in Farragut’s beautiful parks, because from Monday through Saturday, November 13-18, special turkeys will be hiding in Anchor Park, Mayor Bob Leonard Park, McFee Park, BlueCross Healthy Place at Town Hall, Founders Park at Campbell Station and Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza.

Find a turkey, take a picture with it, then show the picture to the staff at the front desk of Farragut Community Center, 239 Jamestowne Blvd., and receive a prize!

However, the ones who take pictures with the turkey hidden in each park, all six, will be entered to win a fall gift basket from Farragut Parks and Recreation.

Keep an eye out for an extra special, blue and green town of Farragut-themed turkey moving to a different park each day. A picture with the special turkey will automatically enter you in the gift basket drawing!

To get clues about the turkeys’ whereabouts or for more information about the event, visit the Farragut Parks and Recreation social media pages.

No registration is required for this event. Info: Rachel Malone at 865-218-3378 or rmalone@townoffarragut.org.
