Attend the Family Safety and Wellness Fair this Saturday, January 13, 1-4 p.m. at E. V. Davidson Community Center, 3124 Wilson Avenue.
The event will have multiple resources available for area youth from baseball/softball sign-ups with EKAA/KYAA and health resources from New Direction Health Care Solutions and Oak Street Health to safety tips from Knoxville Police and Fire departments to water safety instruction from USA Swimming Foundation.
There will also be time available in the pool for those who pre-register for a session from beginner swim lessons at 1 p.m., intermediate swim lessons at 2, and a starts/ turns clinic for advanced swimmers at 3.
All are invited to watch Olympic and world-class college swimmers compete in the TYR Pro Series finals at 5 p.m. at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center on UT’s campus.
