You may be familiar with Knox County Public Library’s Explorer Pass program which allows patrons a chance to “check out” admission to all kinds of cultural organizations such as Zoo Knoxville and the area Historic Homes including Blount Mansion, Mabry Hazen House, Historic Ramsey House and more. But did you know that you can check out tickets to some area performances as well?
We’ve partnered with Clarence Brown Theatre, Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Knoxville Children’s Theatre to provide tickets for select performances. Tickets go fast, but you might want to grab them while you can. You can reserve tickets up to six weeks in advance with an active adult library card in good standing.
Upcoming performances include:
- A Christmas Carol at Clarence Brown Theatre
- Sense and Sensibility at Knoxville Children’s Theatre
- Bax Plays Rachmaninoff (Knoxville Symphony Orchestra) at the Tennessee Theatre
Also, we’ve recently added passes to the Sunsphere if you’re interested in a soaring view of downtown Knoxville!
The Explorer Pass program is made possible through the generous donations from our partner organizations and support from Friends of the Library.
