Energy storage is front and center at this year’s gathering of the Tennessee Solar Energy Industries Association in Chattanooga. Professionals in all facets of the solar energy business will be discussing what’s next for energy storage technology’s practical applications in this state and the Tennessee Valley Authority region.
The Tennessee Valley Solar + Storage Conference is planned for September 1-3 in Chattanooga.
“This is going to be a very insightful conference,” said TenneSEIA Executive Director Gil Hough. “The Tennessee Valley storage market is evolving quickly, and we’ve brought together the people and perspectives needed to help attendees understand where the market is headed and where the opportunities are.”
The president-elect of EBP of Chattanooga is a featured conference speaker. TVA also has a presence and will share its policies that directly affect how local power companies make decisions about solar and energy storage. The conference invites LPC members and local municipal leaders to attend, along with business leaders seeking resilience through energy storage.
This TenneSEIA conference annually brings together manufacturers, private business, and public policymakers for a robust discussion on energy solutions in Tennessee. You can see conference details online here, where various passes are available.
