Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon Norbert Baumgartner MD has joined the heart care team at East Tennessee Cardiovascular Surgery Group and Parkwest Medical Center.
Dr. Baumgartner received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed his general surgery residency and thoracic and cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. He has special clinical interests in heart valve repair, adult cardiovascular surgery, and aortic, esophageal and thoracic surgery.
