An event venue is coming to the south end of Fountain City.
On Broadway Events Center is set to open Thursday, Nov. 18, at 4683 Old Broadway with a tour of facilities from 5-7:30 p.m. The center is owned and operated by the team from Bridgewater Place in West Knoxville.
Andrew Wolfe is general manager of both facilities and Paige Flores is sales manager.
The building has sat vacant for some time. It was originally a sales and showroom for Hull-Dobbs Ford. It later was headquarters for the motor company of Steve and Gary Hall and their dad, Claude Hall. It has about 10,000 square feet – all completely redone.
