Time sure flies by — how is it already the last week of April? In the third week of April more than 2,000 deeds were recorded, just as all other weeks this month. And, while the week did net fewer property transfers and fewer loans, the numbers are still very strong.

Property transfers made up 292 of the 2,100 total documents. The total value of the 292 came to $83.3 million with only five transfers over $1 million.

The one commercial property that changed hands was Choto Marina. Just in time for summer, MEJ Properties LLC transferred the property to Choto Marina Properties LLC for $3.8 million.

The total number of loans last week was 572. These came to a total of $162.04 million. That’s a phenomenal number, even if it’s lower than the other weeks in April. Of the 572, nine were loans for amounts over a million dollars. The banks lending these nine loans were:

  • Raymond James Bank, NA – $1.17 million
  • Mountain Commerce Bank – $1.4 million
  • Wells Fargo Bank NA – $1.5 million
  • Regions Bank – $2.4 million
  • Home Federal Bank of Tennessee – $5.28 million
  • Commercial Bank – $8.7 million
  • Grandbridge Real Estate Capital – $16.5 million
