Help Clean the Clinch from 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, Oct. 16, at Haw Ridge Park in Oak Ridge on Edgemoor Road. Volunteers meet at the boat ramp near the park. Bring kayaks or canoes to help remove litter from the river. For those without kayaks, Adventures Outdoors and River Sports Outfitters are providing a few kayaks for the event.
