Jim Clayton is “exploring all options” for land on which to build the Knoxville Science Museum.
In response to rumors that Clayton has moved beyond the proposed site, currently headquarters for the Knoxville Police Department, Moxley Carmichael was authorized to release this statement on behalf of the Knoxville Science Museum:
“We are still interested in the Safety Building site but we have been approached about other sites in the city. We feel it is our responsibility to consider all options.”
